Seu Jorge has been a fixture of the Brazilian music arena since the 1990s, but most American audiences first became acquainted with the singer/actor's dusky croon after he appeared as a David Bowie-covering shipmate in 2004's "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou." His newest album in three years, the just-released self-titled outing with his band Almaz, sees the multi-talented vocalist returning with more of his signature easygoing cool. Here Jorge offers up his slinky version of the Roy Ayers' classic "Everybody Loves the Sunshine," infusing the already ubersmooth tune with his own seductive brand of soul.
