Tonight marks the second evening in a three-night stint at Roulette featuring the experimental trio of free jazz saxophonist Ivo Perelman and avant-gardists Daniel Levin on cello and Andrew Cyrille on drums. Perelman, who is also a visual artist, has been concentrating on painting as of late, but recently he teamed up with Levin and bassist Torbjörn Zetterberg and returned with the album Soulstorm (on of his many releases this year). This album cut features the trio meditating on an adventurous, knotty composition.
