When Deerhunter turned up in the early aughts, the band quickly rose to become giants of the indie music scene, beloved for its noisy, reverb-soaked guitars and post-punk songcraft. Now, nearly a decade later, the Atlanta-based band has turned a corner with Halcyon Digest, its fourth full-length album. On this track, “Revival,” Deerhunter displays its sunnier, psychedelic side. Banjo, fuzz guitar, and vocals right out the '60s make this music sound like a summer day.
