New York City Opera's recent production of Anna Nicole at the Brooklyn Academy of Music raised a few eyebrows last month, as any opera about the late supermodel Anna Nicole Smith should. It may also have been City Opera's final act. The 70-year old company announced this week that it will dissolve and declare Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
